The SEC says it will push fall sports back to at least August 31st due to COVID-19.
The announcement was made by SEC commissioner Greg Sankey yesterday (Tuesday).
This will impact Mizzou volleyball, soccer and cross country teams.
The MU football team is not scheduled to start its season until September 5, so the decision will not impact the Tigers start to the season.
SEC Commissioner Sankey, says the conference will wait until the end of this month to make a final decision on fall sports.
Former Missouri basketball player, Sophie Cunningham is reporting for WNBA training camp in Florida.
Cunningham was supposed to arrive with the rest of her teammates on July 6th, however she tested positive for COVID-19 on June 18th.
She quarantined for 14 days after testing positive, then per WNBA rules, quarantined for another 14 days before being cleared to report to camp.
She is beginning her second season with Phoenix Mercury starting on July 25th.
