The Mexico-Audrain County Library is the recipient of over ten thousand dollars in grant money from the Missouri Secretary of State Jay Ashcroft.
The amount of the grant was $10,728 and was given in order to respond to coronavirus health and safety concerns.
The library will use the grant funds to purchase equipment to improve its virtual storytimes, webcams and headsets to facilitate remote staff meeting and programs for the public, update network equipment to provide faster internet connectivity, self-check stations and software for contactless checkout.
