Changes are being announced for the upcoming college football season.
SEC Commissioner Greg Sankey announced yesterday (Thursday) the SEC is planning for a ten game, in-conference football schedule this season.
The season will be delayed with a start on September 26th and end with the SEC Championship on December 19th.
The revised schedule, will be announced at a later date, and will include one mid-season open date, and one open date on December 12th for all teams.
Mizzou Football was supposed to play 2 games prior to the new start date of September 26th. One of those was a conference game against South Carolina, it is unknown if that game will be rescheduled.
The Kansas City Royals defeated the Detroit Tigers 5-3 last night.
The Royals scratched across a run in the seventh on a hit batter.
Kansas City then pushed across 2 more runs in the 8th inning, and with the win they earned a split in the four game series with Detroit.
