Mexico Public Safety Report 8/17/20
ARRESTS:
Mexico Public Safety reports the arrest of 35 year old Jeremy C. Schudel on Friday, August 14th, for a violation of an order of protection and stealing less than fifty dollars.
39 year old Elandra C. Thomas arrested on Saturday, August 15th, for a Ralls County warrant.
22 year old Mikel O. Crump arrested on Saturday, August 15th, for a Quincy, Illinois warrant.
CALLS FOR SERVICE:
Mexico Public Safety responded to the following calls for service over the weekend starting Friday, August 14th:
Displaying a weapon on West 5th.
A report of child abuse or neglect at Fairground Road.
A fight in progress on North Washington.
Mexico Public Safety went to the following calls on Saturday, August 15th:
Drug activity in progress on Carson.
A stealing or theft on West Monroe and at East Liberty.
Threats on Emmons.
Trash dumping at North Jefferson.
A natural gas odor on Garfield.
Mexico Public Safety responded to a stealing or theft on South Olive yesterday (Sunday).
CAR ACCIDENTS:
A 2 car accident on Agricultural at East Jackson on Saturday, August 15th.
According to the accident report it happened when a vehicle driven by 70 year old Sue Fuller of Mexico was unable to stop in time and ran into the back of a vehicle driven by a 16 year old Mexico resident.
No injuries were reported.
