The defending Stanley Cup Champion St. Louis Blues are on the brink of elimination after losing 4-3 to the Vancouver Canucks last night in Game 5 of their opening round playoff series.
The Blues were up 3-1 before the Canucks scored 3 goals in the second period.

The Kansas City Royals and Cincinnati Reds split a doubleheader yesterday (Wednesday) at Kauffman Stadium.
In game one the Royals blanked the Reds 4-0. In game 2 the Reds returned the favor shutting out Kansas City 5-0.
Fans attending Missouri Tigers football games this season will be required to wear masks.
