The Mexico School District says they are operating at a Tier 2, orange risk level this week.
Each week the district assesses 4 risk levels that are formulated by Audrain County’s 7-day rolling average of new positive cases and new hospitalizations.
The risk levels fluctuate from green being the lowest risk.
Yellow and orange.
To red being the highest risk level.
Although Audrain County shows red on the Harvard Path to Zero map this is due to the number of positive cases at the Tri-County Care Center in Vandalia.
The next risk tier will be announced next week on Monday morning by email and social media.
