Pilot Uninjured After Engine Failure In Montgomery County

A pilot is uninjured this (Wednesday) afternoon after a crash landing in Montgomery County.

It happened just after 1:00 when the pilot called 911 saying that he had an engine failure and had crashed in a soybean field west of Montgomery City.

The pilot of the Zenith 750 two passenger plane was flying cross country from Tennessee and was planning on landing in Mexico.

The FAA will conduct an investigation into the crash.
