The investigation into the death of 14-year old North Callaway student Billy Heuer continues.
At last (Thursday) night’s school board meeting, a few parents and former students inquired about the school district’s bullying policy.
Callaway County Sheriff Clay Chism is asking community members to let investigators do their jobs and taking to social media to point fingers is not helping.
Sheriff Chism says “We have to investigate facts. We don’t investigate opinions, rumors, innuendos, or falsehoods.”
Chism went on to say the the school district is working well with investigators and that the investigation will likely be active for several months.
