Double-Digit Increase In Audrain County’s COVID-19 Cases

Another double-digit increase in active COVID-19 cases in Audrain County being reported this (Friday) evening.

As of 5:00 according to the Audrain County Health Department, there are 581 total cases in the county with 251 still active, up 26 and 20 respectively since Thursday’s report.

6 more recoveries have been made, bringing that total to 326 and the death toll remains at 4.

Of the cases, 208 are associated with the women’s prison in Vandalia, made up of 6 staff and 202 offenders.

There are currently 192 offenders and 1 employee active, the other recovered cases occurred prior to the recent outbreak.
