Power has now been restored after an outage in Mexico this morning.
According to the Ameren Power Outage Map a total of 868 people were without power in the area of East Summit.
Ameren fixed the issue just before 11 am and says it was totally mechanical in nature after a failure at a substation.
The entire Bowling Green R1 campus was placed on lock down today [Tuesday] following a threat. The lock down was the result of a student threat to another individual at the high school. The schools were dismissed under police watch. The subject involved in the threat was apprehended.
