Weekly Intracollaborative Meeting In Audrain County Results

Audrain County community and health leaders hold weekly collaborative meeting this (Wednesday) afternoon.

While most agencies had nothing new to reports, Philip Iman with the Laura Miller George Help Center reported they and the Mexico Senior Center both needed volunteers for both food distribution at the Help Center and with the curbside meal program at the Senior Center.

Iman also provided an update on Mexico’s Room At The Inn homeless shelter.

It will operate from December 1st through February 28th, using COVID-19 guidelines approved by the state’s health department.

Arthur Center Community Health reported they had one employee test positive and four others were in quarantine, based on contact with one patient that came through their facility.

Pin Oaks Golden Living reported a non-caregiver employee had tested positive, but no other staff or residents have tested positive.

They also indicated that visitations could begin as early as the end of next week.
