The Audrain County Health Department Lawyer Ann Hagan says a press release will be sent out within 72 hours following a special board meeting held tonight (Tuesday).
The health department board went into executive session at 5:15 pm tonight to discuss personnel matters, by law they have 72 hours to inform the affected personnel of their decision.
Audrain County Board President Dr. Kathleen Weaver spoke with KXEO news and said that was she was unable to comment on reports that Dr. Sandra Hewlett has resigned from her position as Audrain County Health Department Director.
It is unknown at this time who is in command of the Audrain County Health Department.
