Mexico Public Safety Report 10/19/20

CALLS FOR SERVICE:

Mexico Public Safety responded to the following calls for service over the weekend starting on Friday, October 16th:

Shoplifting at 1101 West Monroe.

A fraud on Venus.

A stealing or theft at 1010 East Liberty.

Public Safety responded to the following calls for service on Saturday:

Shots fired reported at Kelley Parkway.

A stealing or theft on MacFarlane.

An intoxicated person driving at West Monroe.

Mexico Public Safety responded to the following calls for service yesterday (Sunday):

Property damage at South Abat.

A stealing or theft on South Abat.

A vehicle break-in at South Coal.

CAR ACCIDENTS:

A 2 car accident on Clark at Boulevard on Friday, October 16th at 11:08 am.

According to the accident report it happened when the driver of a vehicle failed to keep a proper lookout and collided with another vehicle.

32 year old Megan Norman was taken to SSM Audrain for treatment.

 

A 17 year old Mexico teen is recovering following a one car accident in Mexico on Friday night.

According to the accident report the teen was eastbound on Liberty and failed to keep a proper lookout and hit a legally parked car.

The teen was taken to SSM Audrain for treatment.
