CALLS FOR SERVICE:
Mexico Public Safety responded to the following calls for service yesterday (Tuesday):
An intoxicated person driving at the corner of East Whitley and Jefferson.
A report of child abuse or neglect on Amelia Drive and at North Washington.
Property damage on East Breckenridge.
CAR ACCIDENTS:
A one car accident reported in the 700 block of West Monroe yesterday (Wednesday) morning.
According to the accident report it happened when 38 year old Corey Andrew Smith of Mexico was backing into a driveway and struck a Phynx Fiber underground box, causing damage to the cable box.
No injuries reported.
