SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital – Jefferson City may soon have a new owner.
SSM and Quorum Health have signed a letter of intent to purchase the hospital and associated medical group practices.
The letter of intent begins a period of exclusive negotiation between the two organizations for the hospital campus built in 2014.
Both parties say they have a goal of reaching a definitive agreement in the second quarter of 2021.
Quorum Health is based in Tennessee with 22 affiliated hospitals across the U.S.
