Mexico Lady Bulldogs Open Season With Impressive Victory Over Liberty Christian In Montgomery County Tournament

The Mexico Girls Basketball Team opened up their season with a 61-24 victory over the Liberty Christian Lady Eagles tonight (Monday) in the opening round of the Montgomery County Tournament.

Four Lady Bulldogs got into double digits.

They were led by Junior Mya Miller who had a double-double with 21 points and 13 rebounds.

Freshman Riley Blevins kicked in 15 points and sank 3-three pointers.

Riley Thurman with 12 and Lexi Willer had 10 points.

Taylor Demint with 2 points and Abby Oetting rounded out the scoring book with 1 point.

The #3 seed Mexico Lady Bulldogs will now challenge the #2 seeded Montgomery County Wildcats on Wednesday night in the semifinals of the tournament with a 7:30 tip off.
