Mexico Bulldogs Boys Basketball Team Advance To Montgomery County Tournament Championship Game

The Mexico Bulldogs Boys Basketball Team defeated the Montgomery County Wildcats 67-61 tonight (Thursday) and have advanced to the Championship Game of the Montgomery County Tournament.

Mexico would trail 23 to 15 after the first period and then went on to outscore the Wildcats 18 to 3 in the 2nd, and 20 to 11 in the third. Montgomery County would get within singe digits in the fourth, however the Bulldogs were able to hang on and close the deal.

Three Bulldogs reached double digits in score and were led by Isaiah Reams with 26 points.

Drew Blevins put up 14, and Raef Yager finished with 11.

Rounding out the scoring book was Daeye Miller with 8, Michael White with 6 points and Peyton Willer with 2.

The Bulldogs will play New Haven on Saturday for in Championship game of the Montgomery County Tournament with a 7pm tip off.
