Mexico School District Moves COVID-19 Risk Down One Level And Is Increasing Spectators To Sports Events

The Mexico School District is increasing the number of spectators allowed at sports events.

In an email released today from the district the plan is to allow 4 spectators per participant.

Mexico Activities Director Travis Blevins says there is enough space to safely operate at about 1/3 capacity.

The Mexico School District also downgraded their current COVID-19 Risk from Red to an Orange Level this week which is still considered a high risk.

The school district is encouraging social distancing and mask wearing at all events.
