The Mexico Bulldogs Basketball Teams split a conference double header with the Fulton Hornets at the Mexico High School tonight (Tuesday).
The Mexico Girls defeated the Fulton Girls 44-38.
Mya Miller led the way with 11.
Followed by Riley Thurman and Taylor Demint who put up 7 points.
The Lady Bulldogs would trail most of the game and would come back to seal the win by outscoring the Lady Hornets 12-2 in the fourth quarter.
The Mexico Girls improved to 13-3 on the season and 5-0 in the North Central Missouri Conference.
The Mexico Boys lost 64-61 to Fulton.
The Bulldogs would lead the Hornets by as much as 18 in the first half. Fulton would outscore Mexico 19-11 in the third and 14-6 in the fourth.
Unofficial scoring had Raef Yager leading the Bulldogs with 18 points and Isaiah Reams in double digits with 14.
Mexico falls to 14-2 overall and 3-1 in the NCMC.
Mexico Boys will be back at Thursday on for a road game against the Hannibal Pirates.
