The Mexico Lady Bulldogs completed the 2-0 season sweep of the Fulton Lady Hornets tonight (Monday) on the road winning 61-39.
Jordyn Thurman set the tone in the first quarter hitting 2-three pointers.
The Lady Bulldogs defense stifled the Lady Hornets holding them to single digits in the 3 of the 4 quarters of the game.
Mya Miller led all scorers with 16.
Riley Thurman and Jordyn Thurman finished with 14 points each respectively.
And Taylor DeMint finished the game with 8 points.
Mexico drained five three pointers on the night.
With the win Mexico improved to a perfect 8-0 in the North Central Missouri Conference and improved to 16-3 overall.
It will be a quick turnaround for the Lady Bulldogs as they host Hannibal tomorrow (Tuesday) at home with a 6:30 tip.
