Mexico Area Chamber Of Commerce Holds Annual Awards Presentation At MMA

A crowd gathered together for the first time in a long time in Mexico last night at the Mexico Area Chamber of Commerce annual meeting and awards presentation.

An estimated 250 people were at the Missouri Military Academy’s Gymatorium.

Deb Hill-Haag received the Chamber’s highest honor as she was announced as the Colonel C.R. Stribling, Junior Community Service Award winner.

The G. Andy Runge Ambassador Award went to Janet’s Dance Studio.

The Civic Award was given to the Audrain County Health Department. Excellence in Tourism went to the Village Square Association.

The Philanthropic Achievement was awarded to Max Kennen.

Educator of the Year was Peggy Reynard.

And the President’s Award was given to Todd Yager.

The E. Warner Williams Business Service Award was presented to Dagwood Jr.

The event is normally held in January however was delayed due to the pandemic.
