Two Moberly residents are behind bars following two separate drug busts yesterday (Sunday).
According to Moberly Police, the first warrant was served in the 400 block of Tara Park yesterday (Sunday) morning and 43-year old Scott Robert Ellis was taken into custody, charged with 2 counts of 2nd degree drug trafficking, 3 counts of delivery of a controlled substance and one count of delivery of 35 grams or less of marijuana or synthetic cannabinoid.
Ellis is being held without bond.
The second was served later in the afternoon in the 500 block of McKinley Avenue where 30-year old Tesa Samone Ray was taken into custody, charged with one count of 2nd degree drug trafficking and two counts of delivery of a controlled substance.
Ray’s bond is $35,000 cash only.
Between the two search warrants, officers seized capsules believed to contain heroin and fentanyl, methamphetamine, psychedelic mushrooms, marijuana, LSD tablets, and morphine and Alprazolam tablets.
