Mexico Public Safety Department Report 6/25/21

CALLS FOR SERVICE:

Mexico Public Safety responded to the following calls for service yesterday (Thursday):

A Careless and Imprudent Driver on South Clark.

Harassment at South Jefferson.

Loose livestock on South Morris.

A stealing or theft at East Monroe and on North Missouri.

Leaving without paying for gas at 4800 South Clark.

Trespassing at the corner of East Love and Washington.

CAR ACCIDENTS:

A 2 car accident yesterday (Thursday) at 1:19pm on West Liberty at South Muldrow.

According to the accident report a vehicle driven by 67 year old Myrna Brummitt of Farber stopped at a stop sign and entered the intersection turning left and was hit by a vehicle driven by 85 year old Paul Blair of Mexico.

Brummitt was taken to the University Hospital for treatment.

 

A 2 car accident on South Western at Breckenridge yesterday (Thursday) morning.

According to the accident report it happened when a vehicle driven by 83 year old Connie Pickering of Mexico ran a stop sign and struck a vehicle driven by 76 year old Sammy Williams of Mexico.

No injuries were reported.

 

A 2 car accident on Monroe at Muldrow yesterday (Thursday) morning.

According to the accident report it happened when a vehicle driven by 74 year old Richard James of Mexico was turning left onto West Monroe from Muldrow and had a green arrow.

A vehicle driven by 80 year old Robert Smith was turning right on red when the collision happened.

No injuries reported.
