The Auxvasse Lions Club is announcing the dates for both an open house for their new Community Center and the return of Loafer’s Week.
The dedication of the new building is Saturday afternoon, August 7th at 2:30 and in conjunction with Auxvasse’s Sesquicentennial, they are serving a free whole hog dinner for those attending.
Loafer’s Week will return on the Monday following the dedication, August 9th.
This year’s Loafer’s Week was postponed due to COVID-19, but will be back with cards, coffee, iced tea and food served by a number of area businesses and service organizations.
Tuesday the 10th will also include a statewide Bicentennial Ice Cream Social from 5:00 until 7:00 that evening to celebrate Missouri’s birthday.
