The Missouri Tigers Football team received a commitment from defensive tackle Jalen Marshall yesterday (Tuesday).
Marshall announced on Instagram he was choosing Mizzou over the likes of Nebraska, Oklahoma State and Indiana.
He becomes the 12th overall commitment for the Tigers in the 2022 recruiting class and the second defensive lineman to give his verbal pledge joining St. Charles, MO native Marquis Gracial.
Former Mizzou Women’s Basketball player Jordan Chavis has signed a professional contact in Germany with the Eintracht Braunschweig Lionpride, the team announced on Tuesday.
Chavis started all 30 games she appeared in during her senior season at Mizzou and had a career-year averaging 7.3 points and 2.6 rebounds per game while shooting 42.4 percent from three. Chavis also posted career-highs in assists (65) and steals (31).
Her 42.4 percent mark from three ranks seventh all-time in a single-season in program history, while her 53 threes on the season rank ninth by a Mizzou senior. She finished her career ranked fifth in program history in three-pointers made (149) and eighth in three-point field goal percentage (.363).
