Two Arrested In Mexico Shots Fired Incident On North Clark

Two arrests are now made in connection to a shots fired incident in Mexico on Friday night.

According to Mexico Public Safety an officer heard gunshots in the area of the 1300 block of North Clark and saw a vehicle leaving the area.

The officer stopped the vehicle on North Jefferson near Bourne Street.

An investigation revealed that there had been a disturbance in a home on North Clark and as some of the people were leaving, a 17-year-old male juvenile fired a gun in the air.

24 year old William C. Garcia-Hernandez was arrested for 3rd degree Domestic Assault and taken to the Audrain County Jail.

The 17 year old was detained by the 12th Circuit Court, Juvenile Division for various charges.

No one was injured from the gunshots.
