All-Conference third baseman Abby Bellamy and her mother Kris Bellamy put a lot of miles on the road yesterday. Abby played on her travel team in Kansas City yesterday morning, then drove back to Mexico last night for the exhibition game to join her Bulldogs teammates. Abby will be back in Kansas today rejoining her travel team the Texas Glory competing in the Elite World Series.
The Mexico Lady Bulldogs softball team finished with a 17-13 record last season and defeated Southern Boone in the 1st game of Districts. The new season for Mexico starts on August 27th on the road at Fatima.
