ARRESTS:
Mexico Public Safety reports the arrest of 64 year old Steve A. Sweitzer for DWI and Driving While Suspended.
CALLS FOR SERVICE:
Mexico Public Safety responded to the following calls for service yesterday (Monday):
A suspicious vehicle on Summit.
A stealing or theft at North Washington and on Teal Lake Park.
Suspicious person at Bougainville.
Property damage on Lakeview Road.
A report of animal abuse or neglect at North Western.
An assault with no injuries on West Monroe.
Shots fired reported at Cleveland.
Fireworks at the corner of Eastholm and Jeffries.
CAR ACCIDENTS:
A Texas man is facing several charges after a 3 car accident in Mexico last (Monday) night.
According to accident report from Mexico Public Safety it happened around 10:45 on West Monroe and North Western.
A vehicle driven by 64 year old Steve Sweitzer of Austin, Texas proceeded through the intersection and struck a vehicle driven by 19 year old Robert McCulley of Mexico and another vehicle driven by 61 year old Larry Lambert of Mexico.
There were no injuries reported.
Sweitzer was arrested for DWI and Driving While Suspended and taken to the Audrain County Jail.
