Mexico FFA Chapter hosted the Area 4 Battle of the Chapters tonight (Wednesday) at Plunkett Park. More than 250 FFA members representing a dozen area chapters participated in team building exercises like smash ball and grab the cup. Canned food was also collected to donate to local food pantries.

The City of Mexico will be closing Ozark Place tomorrow [Tuesday] to conduct street work. City crews have Ozark Place down to one lane today in order to prepare for the culvert replacement, and the road will be completely closed tomorrow. The work is expected to be completed by the end of the day.
