The suspect in the shooting on Mcbaine Avenue in Columbia on Wednesday is now in police custody. 31 year old Phillip Anthony Lawson was arrested yesterday (Wednesday) on Kennedy Drive in Moberly. Lawson is facing charges of First Degree Assault, Armed Criminal Action and Unlawful Use of a Weapon.
