The City of Centralia is hiring a law firm to investigate alleged improprieties within the City Administration.
In a press release this (Friday) afternoon, the city is engaging the assistance of a third-party law firm to assist in evaluating recent allegations appropriately.
A special meeting of the Board of Aldermen set for Monday night includes an agenda item authorizing the mayor to execute an agreement with Cunningham, Vogel, & Rost as special legal counsel to the city.
Monday’s agenda also includes, under the “appointments” heading, the appointing of an interim Chief of Police.
