MoDOT is giving an update on the current road conditions after a winter storm went through the area over the past couple of days.
According to Brian Untiedt, area engineer with Modot the major routes remain snow covered, and there are still a lot of slick spots this (Friday) morning.
In Audrain, Randolph, and Monroe counties crews have been over minor routes and they are still out working.
Further south in Montgomery County and Lincoln County MoDOT crews are still working on minor routes, trying to keep up with I-70.
Montgomery Route B remains closed due to a tractor trailer jackknifed.
Drivers should use caution and check the MoDOT Travelers Map for up to date road conditions.
