The Mexico Bulldogs boys basketball team will try to break a school record for best start to a season tonight when they play St. Elizabeth at the Mexico Middle School. The Bulldogs are currently tied with the 2010-2011 team for best start to a season without at loss at 19-0. The Bulldogs boys look to rewrite the record book tonight against St. Elizabeth with a 7:30 scheduled tip. AM 1340 KXEO will carry the game live and it will be streaming on KXEO.com.
The Mexico Lady Bulldogs will also be in action at the Mexico Middle School tonight (Friday) in a game against Capital City. Tip is set for 6:15. AM 1340 KXEO will also be carrying this game and it will be streaming on KXEO.com.
The University of Missouri women’s basketball team lost 76-62 on the road to the 13th ranked Tennessee Lady Volunteers last (Thursday) night.
Mizzou’s Lauren Hansen led all players with her 22-point effort off the bench.
Aijha Blackwell notched her 18th double-double of the season and 38th for her career with 13 points and 10 boards.
Up next the Tigers return to Mizzou Arena on Sunday to play Arkansas with a 2pm tip.
The St. Louis Blues fell to the New Jersey Devils 7-4 last (Thursday) night at the Enterprise Center.
The Devils scored five goals in the third period to complete the comeback win.
Blues goalie Jordan Binnington made 22 saves. St. Louis has now lost their past 2 games.
