Mexico Public Safety Responds To 2 Fires Tuesday Night

Mexico Public Safety reports responding to 2 fires in Mexico last (Tuesday) night.

The first was just before 8pm in the 500 block of South Washington.

Responding personnel found a small fire in a dumpster at Hardin Park.

It was put out quickly with the plastic lid on the dumpster completely melting.

No other property was damaged.

The second fire was around 10:30 last (Tuesday) night, when a patrol saw some material burning at a demolition site in the 500 block of East Liberty.

Additional personnel responded and the fire was extinguished with no other property damaged.

According to Mexico Public Safety both fires appear to have been set.

There were no injuries from either incident.
