Motion To Throw Out Murder Plea Dismissed

A man accused of the murder of two people outside of Auxvasse in 2011 appeared in a Boone County Courtroom requesting his guilty plea be thrown out today. [Friday]

Ryan Coari filed the motion to vacate his two life sentences for the murder of Michael Wieberg and his daughter Amanda Wieberg at Michael’s home.


Coari had gone to the Wieberg residence to rob them, and instead shot them both and burned down the house.

Coari then stole Amanda’s vehicle and attempted to burn it as well.

He was sentenced to two life sentences for their deaths.

Judge Kevin Crane dismissed Coari’s request with prejudice today.
