The body of the man missing from Rocky fork Lakes Conservation Area yesterday has been identified as Michael L Smith, 61, of St. Louis.
Smith went missing Sunday afternoon. Emergency crews searched Sunday afternoon and evening, resuming the search on Monday morning, eventually finding him around 8:40 am.
No foul play is indicated at this time. The Highway Patrol is currently ruling Smith’s death as a drowning.
