Saturday two women, Shala Brown and Stephanie Wilbur, were arrested and charged with delivery of a controlled substance after they allegedly tried to bring in K2 and Suboxone to the Moberly Correctional Center.
The day before, the Missouri Department of Corrections Moberly Correctional Center received a tip that two visitors might be coming to the facility Saturday to pass drugs to inmates, according to the probable cause statement.
Both women were arraigned on Monday and a preliminary hearing is scheduled for Sept. 19 for Wilbur, Brown has a preliminary hearing for August 15.
Brown is currently being held in the Randolph County Jail on a $4,950 cash or surety bond. According to online court records, it is uncertain if Wilbur posted bond and was released .
