MU Health Care has a limited number of Novavax doses under emergency authorization, and will offer a special vaccination event Tuesday, Aug. 23 from 5:15 p.m. until 7:45 p.m., at South Providence Medical Park in Columbia by appointment only.
The second dose of the two-dose series will be administered on Sept. 13.
Novavax is not a booster dose for Pfizer or Moderna. It is for those who have not received a vaccine at all. To schedule an appointment, please call (573) 771-CARE.
