New Bishop At Diocese of Jefferson City
A new bishop was installed today [Tuesday] for the Diocese of Jefferson City. Father William Shawn McKnight was formerly a priest of the Diocese of Wichita, where he was ordained in 1994. McKnight will be the 4th bishop of the diocese since 1956. McKnight will serve as bishop for nearly 82 thousand Catholics in Missouri.

McGirk Fire Destroys Two Vacant Buildings, No Injuries
Two abandoned structures were destroyed by fire Tuesday morning on Moniteau Street in McGirk, according to the California Fire Protection District. Van-Far Parade This (Thursday) Afternoon for Class One State Champions Boys Basketball Team
The Van-Far School District will have a parade this (Thursday) afternoon for the Class 2 State Champions Boys Basketball team. Kim Pafford Van-Far High School Principal says the parade will be taking place at 4:30. The team will also be recognized by the school board after the recognition ceremony at the high school.
