Linn Man Struck by Passing Car While Doing Yardwork in Jefferson City

In Jefferson City, a man tending a yard near the shoulder of the road was struck by a passing car. On Southwest Boulevard, William Kaullen, 49, of Linn was using a weed-eater on the berm between the sidewalk and the road. A licensed juvenile driver veered from the roadway and hit him. Kaullen struck the hood and sustained serious head injuries falling to the road. He was taken to University Hospital. The driver was uninjured.
