Coach Eli Drinkwitz and his Mizzou Tigers have their first win of the season in the books after beating Louisiana Tech last night 52 to 24 in Columbia.

Brady Cook threw for 196 yards with an interception and touchdown run.

Mizzou Tigers will take a trip to Kansas State next Saturday for an 11:00 kickoff.

After a day off yesterday, the Cards get back to it tonight hosting the Cubs. Left-hander Jordan Montgomery heads to the mound for the Cardinals, right-hander Adrian Sampson for the Cubs. The first pitch is at 7:15.

The Royals dropped a game to the White Sox yesterday, 7 to 1. Today they head to Detroit. The first pitch set for 6:10. Kansas City’s left-hander Daniel Lynch vs Tigers’ right-hander Drew Hutchison.
