A busy night is in store for the Mexico City Council tonight (Monday) with a number of items on the agenda.
They will hold a public hearing for an additional use permit for Ron and Betty Salmons to put up a commercial storage building at 321 Clay Street.
They will take up ordinances renaming Garfield Park to Tyronn Lue Park, set filing dates for the 2023 Municipal General Election and acceptance of a TAP grant for sidewalk improvements along Muldrow.
Resolutions on the agenda include one helping The Help Center defray costs and one to disburse Tourism Tax money to entities.
The Council will also hear reports on purchasing firearms for Mexico Public Safety and on emergency work needed on the Industrial Railroad Spur before adjourning into executive session to discuss real estate matters.
The meeting begins at 6 in the Council Chambers on the third floor of City Hall at 300 North Coal.
