Teams in the high school football playoffs are shrinking.

Trinity Catholic took out Southern Boone 27-17.

Columbia Battle is moving on as they beat Fort Zumwalt North 26-14.

Several games on the for today (Saturday) include Blair Oaks against Clark County.

Mary Institute and St. Louis Country Day travels to Hannibal.

And Fayette goes to Westran.

Kickoff for those games at 1 pm.



The Missouri Tigers men’s basketball team squeezed past Kennesaw State 55-52 yesterday (Friday) in the first round of the Paradise Jam.

Kevin Puryear put up 17 points and took down six rebounds for Mizzou.

The Tigers next face Oregon State in the semifinals tomorrow (Sunday) at 4:30.
The Missouri Women’s Tigers basketball team suffered its first loss of the season 56-49 to Green Bay last (Friday) night at Mizzou Arena.

Junior guard Amber Smith led the way for Mizzou by recording her fourth career double-double with 23 points and 10 rebounds.

The Missouri Tigers football team on the road today (Saturday) against the Tennessee Volunteers.

The Tigers are bowl eligible and are coming off back to back wins against Florida, and Vanderbilt.

The Volunteers come into the came after an upset win last week over the then 11th ranked Kentucky Wildcats.
