Voters in Boone County decide on use taxes and a few contested county office races.
Unofficial results from yesterday’s (Tuesday’s) election show Kip Kendrick getting the win for Presiding Commissioner, Bob Nolte won the Recorder race, Kyle Rieman garnered the win for the County Auditor and the Treasurer will be Jenna Redel.
Harrisburg voters said no to a use tax, 43 to 38 while Centralia residents vetoed a use tax as well, 869 to 558.
Rocheport voters approved their use tax, 67 to 45.
As of yesterday (Tuesday) evening, unofficial results in Monroe County showed Curt Wheeler leading the list of three candidates vying for Presiding Commissioner.
