Four Injured In Audrain County Accident Thursday Afternoon

Two women and two children have injuries after a three-car accident in Audrain County yesterday (Thursday) afternoon.

According to the Missouri Highway Patrol it happened just before 1:30 on Highway 54 at Central Metals.

The crash happened as a vehicle driven by 29-year-old Meghan M. Knipfel of Laddonia was stopping for other vehicles turning.

A vehicle driven by 19-year-old Tiffany M. Martin of Rush Hill struck Knipfel’s vehicle in the rear pushing it into the path of a vehicle driven by 40-year-old Joshua M. Bailey of Carrollton, Illinois.

An eight-year-old boy and a ten-year-old boy from Laddonia had minor injuries.

Martin and Knipfel had moderate injuries.

Everyone was taken to the University Hospital by Audrain County EMS.
