Mexico head coach Tony Senor reports “Although we didn’t win against Kirkville, we all played well considering the wind and temperature. Brendan and Declan won their Doubles match in Tiebreaker, Declan beat his #2 10-5 where we had troubles with him last season, and Brendan beat Kirksville’s #1 in Tiebreaker. Brendan had a huge come from behind win when he started the match off being down 2-5. Playing Kirksville #1 will pay off with a potential Sectional match-up to make it to the MSHSAA State Tournament. Next match is home against Father Tolton at 4:30 PM on 04/24/2023.”
