Local McDonalds are celebrating teachers today (Tuesday).
May 2 is National Teachers Appreciation Day.
Participating McDonalds are offering area teachers a free any size soft drink, sweet tea, hot or iced coffee.
The Mexico McDonalds says they are a participating location.
