Former Missouri star Kobe Brown became the first former Tiger to be drafted into the NBA in five years last (Thursday) night when the Los Angeles Clippers took Brown as the final pick of the first round.
Brown was the first player from Mizzou to be selected in the NBA Draft since Michael Porter Jr. went 14th overall to the Denver Nuggets in 2018.
Brown will play for Mexico native and Clippers head coach Tyronn Lue.
After going undrafted last (Thursday) night, former Missouri guard D’Moi Hodge is joining the Los Angeles Lakers.
He will reportedly sign a 2-way contract, meaning he can play for the Lakers or their G-League affiliate in El Segundo, California.
