Several residents in the Mexico area are without power after storms rolled through the area early Saturday, August 12, 2023.
In Mexico residents on Breckenridge and near the middle school say they lost power just around 3 this morning.
Audrain County Joint Communications is says that the storms knocked power lines down across the town overnight.
West Street has now power according to a resident who posted on social media.
A resident on Woodlawn called KXEO and says she is without power.
Power outages being reported in the North Jefferson area, from Craig to Clark. between Meyer and Hendricks, and on Yale.
According to the Ameren outage report map there are around 2,000 without power in the Mexico area.
It has been out since 3:30 Saturday morning.
And no expected time for it to be back on has been determined.
