The Mexico Lady Bulldogs softball team shut out the Hannibal Lady Pirates 14-0 on the road last (Thursday) night.
The Lady Bulldogs scored early and often in as they run ruled Hannibal in six innings.
Mexico piled up 13 hits in the game.
Karlie Sefrit led the way with three hits in three at bats.
Jordan Thurman, Brooke Teel, and Landri Teel each collected multiple hits for Mexico.
Hannah Loyd drove in five runs on two hits.
Loyd hit an inside the park grand glam in the fifth scoring four.
Jordyn Thurman singled, scoring one run.
Emma Cunningham earned the win for Mexico.
She struck out three.
Mexico improved to 5-4 on the season.
Up next the Lady Bulldogs host Hallsville tomorrow (Saturday) morning at 10 at Gallop Field.
